The Minister of Agriculture inspected a leading farm in Suzak
As part of his working trip to the Jalal-Abad region, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, also acting Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlis Akunbekov visited the breeding farm "Toygonbay Ata," located in the village of Kyzyl-Senir. Here, the minister learned about the results of the enterprise, which is engaged in breeding high-yield Holstein-Friesian cattle.

According to the farm manager, Salavat Toygonbaev, over the past two years, the number of dairy cows has increased from 22 to 45. On average, one cow produces 28–30 liters of milk per day, totaling about 900 liters daily, sold at a price of 40 soms per liter. In May 2025, this farm received official breeding status according to the order of the relevant ministry.

Additionally, the enterprise provides jobs for four local residents. To improve the feed base, this year the Department of Agriculture of the Suzak District allocated 22 hectares of land, including irrigated and rain-fed areas.

During the meeting, the farmer raised the issue of a shortage of irrigation water. Minister Erlis Akunbekov instructed local authorities to resolve water supply issues as soon as possible, confirming that the state will continue to support successful projects in the livestock sector.
