No facts of local potatoes being replaced with Chinese ones have been found.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan has urged farmers not to store potatoes in warehouses in anticipation of price increases.
Currently, the average price of potatoes in the domestic market fluctuates between 42-44 soms. The arrival of early harvest from the Aravan district is expected soon.
The agency warned that if the products continue to be withheld, they may spoil, leading to significant losses.
It was also reported that during the inspection, no cases of Chinese potatoes being sold under the local brand were identified.
