The "Barpy" border post is responsible for guarding one of the key sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. The complex terrain, which includes both plains and mountains, requires high qualifications and professionalism from the personnel, as indicated by the agency.
The delegation also familiarized itself with the living and service conditions of the personnel by visiting one of the soldiers' apartments and inspecting the service premises.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the arsenal and technical equipment of the unit. The guests were shown both standard and specialized samples of weapons, including AZ assault rifles, "Zastava M91" sniper rifles, HP-7.62 assault machine guns with the "Cobra" system for continuous ammunition feeding, as well as TAG-7V2 anti-tank grenade launchers.
Modern technical means for border protection, including tactical drones and the latest communication devices, piqued the interest of the heads of the border agencies. The participants of the 91st meeting of the SCPV were also presented with the equipment and training of service dogs, as well as aspects of logistical support,” the statement notes.
