Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasyamaliev participated in a business forum held within the framework of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), where issues of regional economic development were discussed.

According to information from the government, among the participants of the forum was also the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda.

Kasyamaliev noted that the country's economic growth rates have exceeded 9% for four years. As of the end of October 2025, GDP growth was 10.0%, and the nominal GDP in 2024 exceeded 1.5 trillion soms, which is twice as much as in 2021.

"As the information from the International Monetary Fund shows, Kyrgyzstan entered the top five countries with the highest real GDP growth rates in 2024. The main factors for this growth were construction, industry, and services, which are developing under the influence of domestic demand and investments, as well as large infrastructure projects. High economic activity is ensured by state measures to modernize the economy, improve the investment climate, and implement management reforms," he emphasized, noting that large infrastructure projects significantly contributed to the country's economic development.

Speaking about job creation, Kasyamaliev reported that 159,000 new jobs were created in the first half of 2025, which is 2.9 times more compared to the same period last year. Investment in fixed assets increased by 18.9% compared to last year over the 10 months of 2025.

He also noted that international rating agencies confirmed the effectiveness of economic policy and the stability of macroeconomic indicators, raising Kyrgyzstan's credit rating to "B+" this year.

Discussing the implementation of major projects, the Head of the Cabinet expressed gratitude to partners, including the Asian Development Bank and the CAREC program, for their significant contribution to the country's development.

"We recognize that current achievements are the foundation for more ambitious goals set out in the recently adopted National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030. The main goal of the program is to improve the welfare of citizens. To achieve this, the government aims to create a human-centered model where economic growth directly improves the quality of life of the population," he noted, emphasizing the key directions and goals of the program.

Kasyamaliev also stressed that Kyrgyzstan's strategically advantageous location, young population, rich natural resources, and liberal economy create new opportunities for investment and business development.

"The snow leopard has been recognized as the national symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic, and as our president noted, Kyrgyzstan will become the snow leopard of Central Asia, a dynamically developing and open country. In the culture of the Kyrgyz people, the snow leopard symbolizes greatness, courage, and endurance. We invite you to become partners of the snow leopard of Central Asia. Together we can build a sustainable and prosperous future," concluded Adylbek Kasyamaliev.
