As established during the inspection by the General Prosecutor's Office, the responsible officials from the State Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Bishkek violated the law while conducting scheduled inspections of entrepreneurs.
According to the information from the General Prosecutor's Office, they employed illegal methods, imposing fines without appropriate written warnings and control checks.
As a result, cases were initiated against nine employees of the Center under Article 436 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on offenses, concerning illegal inspections and obstruction of the lawful activities of business entities. The court imposed a fine of 15,000 soms on each of them.
In addition, four department heads were held disciplinarily accountable based on a submission made by the General Prosecutor's Office.
The General Prosecutor's Office continues to monitor compliance with legislation and the protection of entrepreneurs' rights.
