During the meeting, participants reviewed the procedure for developing lists of standards necessary for the technical regulations of the EAEU, as well as agreed on the Commission's proposals aimed at increasing the efficiency of this process.
The results of monitoring the implementation of programs for the creation of GOST standards for the Union's technical regulations in 2024 were discussed, and the reasons were identified why member states were unable to fully meet their obligations to develop standards within the established deadlines.
Additionally, the members of the Council considered Belarus's initiative to create a list of priority areas for standardization work that should contribute to the development of this field within the Union.
The work plan of the Council for 2026-2027 was approved.
