According to information received from the complainants, the incident took place at kindergarten No. 4, located in the Alai district, where the teacher allegedly applied physical force to the children.
Samara Sherikbai kyzy reported that events began to unfold on November 17, when her sister brought her child to the kindergarten. The conflict between the child's mother and the teacher had started long before this. "The teacher demanded money for needs such as curtains. My sister refused, stating that such collections were unacceptable, which led to the quarrel. The teacher later accused the child of smelling of urine and soiling the bed. Soon after, the child came home with bruises all over his body, indicating that he had been beaten and pinched. We approached the head of the kindergarten and showed her the traces of the beatings. She said that the teacher is an orphan, had difficulty getting pregnant for a long time, and is now pregnant, adding that she could be fired if necessary.
With understanding of the situation, we asked not to fire the teacher but to limit it to a strict warning. After the incident, the child did not attend kindergarten for a week. However, he was soon sent back for a celebration, and on the same day, bruises appeared on his body again. This forced us to write a statement and draw public attention. We learned that similar cases had occurred with other children, but many facts remained unnoticed. Now, according to the parents, active participants in the kindergarten group on social media are being removed and called in for individual conversations," added Samara Sherikbai kyzy.
The press service of the Osh regional department of internal affairs confirmed that the information has been registered and an examination has been appointed.
The head of kindergarten No. 4, who was reached for comment, reported that she is currently at the prosecutor's office and promised to provide a comment later.
