As of January 10, the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan has published a list of materials recognized as extremist, terrorist, and fanatical. These materials are subject to a ban on import, production, distribution, and demonstration within the country.

The updated list includes about 1600 resources, including channels and pages on social media: Facebook (249), Instagram (265), YouTube (167), "Odnoklassniki" (36), TikTok (53), and the messenger Telegram (790). The list also features text, audio, and video materials posted on various websites.

Previously, on September 2, a similar list was published, which contained over 1400 materials.

According to legislation on combating extremism, the demonstration, distribution, and storage of the mentioned materials are strictly prohibited, and access to them must be restricted.

The production, storage, and distribution of materials that pose a threat to public safety may result in criminal liability under the Criminal Code.

In its address to the public, including parents and youth, the Supreme Court urged to avoid materials from this list to prevent becoming victims of fanaticism, extremism, and terrorism, emphasizing: "Do not let them destroy your life and dreams."
