On January 14, during a broadcast on "Birinchi Radio," the head of the Border Service of the State National Security Committee, Abdykarim Alimbaev, announced plans to construct a modern border crossing point in the village of Kamyshanovka in the Chui region, which will be implemented jointly with Kazakhstan.

Alimbaev noted that there is a significant flow of people and vehicles at the border between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

As part of the project preparation, an expanded meeting is scheduled for January 19, which will involve representatives from Kazakhstan, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, as well as heads of relevant departments.

“At the meeting, a work plan will be approved, after which the implementation of this project will begin,” added Alimbaev.
