At the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, border services prevented an attempt to smuggle livestock. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of the GKNB.

In the Leilek area, in the Chesh-Dobo locality, about 1 kilometer from the state border, five men were detained for illegally driving livestock.

During the operation, 67 heads of cattle were seized, which were believed to be intended for illegal export.

The animals were handed over to the local border unit for further processing of the procedure.

The border service reminds that any attempts to illegally transport animals will be prosecuted under the law.
