Border guards of Kyrgyzstan prevented the illegal export of livestock to Tajikistan
In the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, border guards prevented an attempt to illegally export cattle to Tajikistan, as reported by the Information and Communications Department of the State National Security Committee Border Service.

The incident occurred yesterday around 20:40 when the staff of the "Kulundu" border post of the Leilek border detachment stopped the movement of four bulls across the border.

The detained individual was a 38-year-old resident of the village of Razzakov in the Leilek district, who was caught on the Kyrgyz side, approximately 40 meters from the border.

It is important to note that there is a temporary ban on the export of livestock in Kyrgyzstan, introduced by the government to stabilize meat prices.
