On November 26, 2025, border service officers prevented the illegal transportation of livestock across the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. This information was provided by the Border Service of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the specified area, namely in the Ak-Suu rural administration, in the Chesh-Döbö locality, about 1000 meters from the state border, a group of five people engaged in the illegal transportation of livestock was spotted.

During operational activities, border guards detained 67 heads of cattle that were presumably intended for smuggling.

The detained livestock was delivered to the border unit for further legal procedures.

The Border Service warned that any attempts at illegal livestock movement will be suppressed and will entail corresponding responsibility in accordance with the legislation.
