Kyrgyzstan and India strengthen cooperation within the framework of SCO and business ties

In the Indian capital, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting took place with the participation of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Askar Beshimov and representatives of the Indian business and cultural community, including the founder of Pythian Games Bijender Goel and the President of the Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI) Gaurav Gupta.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, especially within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). One of the key points was the participation of the Indian delegation in the World Delphi Games scheduled for March 24-27, 2026, in Kyrgyzstan.

During the conversation, Askar Beshimov and Bijender Goel also discussed organizational and logistical issues, as well as opportunities to showcase India's cultural heritage at the upcoming event.

Gaurav Gupta shared information about the upcoming visit of the GTTCI business delegation to Kyrgyzstan, planned for the end of February 2026. The purpose of the visit will be to establish partnerships and develop projects in areas such as information technology, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and green energy. Ambassador Beshimov expressed his readiness to support the organization of meetings with relevant structures to implement these initiatives.
