The Prosecutor's Office of the Sokuluk District conducted an inspection to ensure compliance with the rules for submitting declarations of income, property, and obligations by state and municipal officials.

During the inspections, cases were found where declarations were not submitted within the established deadlines, as well as instances of submitting documents with incomplete or distorted information.

In particular, for the year 2025, 53 administrative protocols were drawn up. These materials were sent to court, and all violators were recognized as such, receiving fines ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 soms. This is 13 cases more than in the previous year.

According to the information from the prosecutor's office, 17 officials submitted declarations with inaccurate or incomplete information. Measures of accountability were applied to them in accordance with part 2 of Article 438 of the Code of Offenses, which pertains to improper submission of declarations. The fine for this violation amounts to 50 calculated indicators (equivalent to 5,000 soms).

Additionally, materials regarding 19 officials who did not submit a unified tax declaration within the established timeframe were sent to the prosecutor's office. Administrative protocols were also drawn up against them, and the court imposed fines.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Sokuluk District noted that despite the regular drafting of protocols under parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Code of Offenses, cases of violations continue to be recorded.

It was also reminded that according to the law "On Counteracting Corruption," the late submission of a unified declaration or the indication of incorrect data may lead to dismissal and legal liability.

According to Article 40 of the Code of Offenses, in the case of repeated violations, court decisions will be sent to the relevant authorities, and in accordance with part 2 of Article 437 ("Abuse of Administrative Resources"), a measure in the form of dismissal may be applied.

In light of the above, the Prosecutor's Office of the Sokuluk District urges employees of state and municipal institutions to strictly adhere to legislative requirements, including the Tax Code and anti-corruption legislation, as well as to ensure the timely submission of declarations with accurate data. Violations of these norms may lead to administrative and other legal consequences.

The prosecutor's office also reported that monitoring activities in this area will continue on an ongoing basis.
