
Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with a delegation of American companies and the U.S. Special Envoy
The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, met with Sergio Gore, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, as well as representatives of the U.S. business community. The meeting took place at the "Yntymak Ordo" residence, as reported by the press service of the head of state.
Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan adheres to a multi-vector foreign policy and highly values cooperation with the U.S. He emphasized the republic's openness to foreign investors, stating that business is not divided based on its geographical origin.
According to the president, this delegation is the largest in the history of Kyrgyz-American relations. He also highlighted the importance of the American-Kyrgyz Business Council and expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness to be a reliable partner for American businessmen in the region.
During the meeting, Japarov reported positive dynamics in the country's economy, where significant projects are being implemented in infrastructure, energy, and industry. Among the priority tasks are improving the investment climate, tax incentives, simplifying business registration processes, and reducing administrative burdens.
The president also reminded that in 2025, the agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings assigned Kyrgyzstan a sovereign credit rating of B+ with a "Stable" outlook, which indicates growing trust from international investors.
For his part, Ambassador Sergio Gore emphasized that the U.S. is significantly increasing its focus on the regions of South and Central Asia. He noted that the administration of President Donald Trump is exploring opportunities to develop sustainable and mutually beneficial economic relations.
Gore also expressed the U.S. interest in expanding investment partnerships and noted the American side's readiness to utilize additional resources to support business. He believes that the meeting is the beginning of future cooperation.
The delegation included representatives from major American companies and organizations such as Boeing, Coca-Cola Company, Franklin Templeton, GE Healthcare, Mooney Group, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American-Kyrgyz Business Council.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening economic dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and the U.S., as well as in developing practical cooperation between government structures and business.
