Three employees of the city department of the State Center for Vehicle Registration have been detained in Bishkek, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
During the investigation, a criminal scheme related to the production of fake certificates of completion from driving schools was uncovered. Directors of private educational institutions B.T. and M.A. illegally received amounts ranging from 40,000 to 120,000 soms through intermediary I.T. for fictitious training. The perpetrators registered citizens on the government portal and issued fake documents without actual completion of courses. As a result of one intermediary's actions, 244 people were enrolled, generating 2,760,850 soms.
In connection with this, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 379 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and three organizers of the criminal group have been detained.
It has been established that the criminal group, led by the previously detained I.T., was engaged in the illegal registration of vehicles arriving from neighboring countries based on forgeries. These actions occurred with the support of employees of the State Center for Vehicle Registration, who ensured the fictitious entry of information into databases and the registration of vehicles using fake documents.
It was also revealed that employees of the Bishkek city department of the State Center for Vehicle Registration were involved in these illegal activities, including chief specialist S.D. and specialists K.U. and U.A., born in 1997.
All detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the court has imposed a preventive measure of one month of imprisonment.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
