Orunbekov stated: "We see how fake profiles are working to discredit General Tashiev. This is a provocation aimed at creating artificial tension."
He added that law enforcement agencies have already begun an investigation and those responsible will be held accountable.
Furthermore, he emphasized that publications with provocative content on social media could be considered a criminal offense.
Orunbekov noted: "Organizing political conspiracies and spreading provocative materials on social media are crimes. Depending on the content, such materials can serve as grounds for a criminal case." He urged users to be responsible in their statements.
Otkurbek Rahmanov, who is close to Kamchybek Tashiev, expressed a similar position. In his opinion, a coordinated campaign to discredit the Tashiev family is unfolding on the internet.
He reported that video materials targeting the member of the Jogorku Kenesh, Shairbek Tashiev, and Tai-Muras Tashiev, are being circulated online. According to him, the goal of such publications is to undermine Kamchybek Tashiev's reputation.
Rahmanov also noted that the facts mentioned in the videos, including celebrations and housing construction, pertain to the period before the current leadership came to power and were known previously.
Additionally, he refuted claims that Tai-Muras Tashiev allegedly arrived at an event by helicopter and traveled in a convoy, stating that footage from other events, including those abroad, is being used for discrediting purposes.
He said that such information attacks are aimed at creating a negative image of Kamchybek Tashiev; however, he is confident that society is capable of assessing the situation independently.
