At the republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo," President Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of providing adequate support to the defenders of the country. He noted that in recent years, a deep reform had been carried out in the law enforcement agencies.
The President explained that the economic success of the state is impossible without internal stability. Over the past five years, unprecedented steps have been taken to reform the law enforcement agencies, improve national security and law and order, as well as modernize the army.
Updating the material and technical base has become a key aspect of the reforms: modern weapons, special technical means, drones, reconnaissance and surveillance systems, high-precision defense technologies, as well as modern transport and communication means have been acquired for a total of hundreds of billions of soms.
In addition, the social protection of workers ensuring security has been completely revised. Salaries for military personnel and law enforcement officers have increased threefold, and in the Batken region, where the military burden is higher, the increase has been 4.5 times,” the president added.
In the meeting, in addition to President Sadyr Japarov, members of the government, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, as well as the mayors of Bishkek and Osh and district akims are participating.
