During the meeting, the deputies adopted a bill on the ratification of the Protocol, which proposes changes to the status of the border crossing points "Tömönkü-Chüy-automobile" ("Kamyshanovka-automobile") and "Kichi-Kapka-automobile." The changes will involve transitioning from a bilateral status to a multilateral (international) one, as well as changing the operating mode of the "Tömönkü-Chüy-automobile" crossing point to round-the-clock instead of operating only during daylight hours.

The necessity for changes is driven by the desire to create more favorable conditions for the development of tourism, increasing freight and passenger traffic, and improving infrastructure.

During the discussion, Deputy Umbetaly Kydyraliev raised the issue of the number of functioning checkpoints on the border with Kazakhstan, to which it was responded that currently six points are operational. Deputy Makhabat Mavlyanova also pointed out the difficulties faced by citizens of Kyrgyzstan when transporting goods. For example, she mentioned problems with seedlings that, due to inspections, are forced to be unloaded, which reduces their quality and prolongs the time for exporters.

Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov brought up the topic of the 90-day limit on the stay of foreign citizens in Kyrgyzstan and suggested considering the possibility of its cancellation or revision in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, the deputies discussed and approved the bill "On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Readmission, signed on September 29, 2025, in Minsk" in the second and third readings.

This agreement aims to simplify the process of accepting individuals who are illegally present in the territory of one of the parties, as well as to establish clear rules for the transit of individuals subject to expulsion and to deepen cooperation in combating illegal migration.

Umbetaly Kydyraliev also inquired about which categories of individuals might be excluded from the readmission procedure.
