50 million soms will be allocated for the development of Kyrgyz animation in 2026
The Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic will allocate 50 million soms in 2026 for the creation of animated films in the Kyrgyz language. This was announced by Marat Tagaev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy, during his speech at the Jogorku Kenesh. According to Tagaev, there is a significant shortage of children's cartoons in the state language in Kyrgyzstan. To address this issue, the ministry intends to use modern technologies.
