Ak-Suysky District Prepares for Spring: Autumn Irrigation Covered Nearly 9,000 Hectares of Land
In the Issyk-Kul region, in the Ak-Suu district, autumn irrigation is being carried out, affecting about 9,000 hectares of land, as reported by Nurzat Kaliev, head of the local water management department of Ak-Suu. As Kaliev noted, this type of irrigation, known as "freezing," serves as a preparatory stage before the spring agricultural work. "Agriculture is the main focus of our district, and attention to irrigation systems is a key priority for us," he added.
