Previously, Abytov served as the authorized representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers in the Jogorku Kenesh.
Almasbek Abytov was born on May 1, 1966, in the village of Kаратам, located in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region. In 1988, he graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after K. Skryabin, earning a degree as a mechanical engineer. In 1993, he completed his postgraduate studies at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and in 2006, he finished his studies at the Bishkek Institute of the Moscow State University, specializing in "economist-mathematician."
