The C-130 aircraft that crashed on November 11 took off from Azerbaijan and went down near the border with Georgia. As a result of the incident, 20 military personnel lost their lives. In connection with what happened, Turkey temporarily suspended all flights of its C-130s until the causes of the disaster are determined.

According to preliminary data, the main version of the crash is a technical malfunction. As reported by Karar, video recordings and an inspection of the crash site indicate that the nose and tail sections of the aircraft separated before impact with the ground. Sources from the publication Milliyet report that corrosion of the fuselage may have been the cause of the destruction. The Turkish Ministry of Defense clarified that this aircraft underwent a technical inspection just a month ago.

Recently, the Turkish Ministry of Defense also reported that the analysis of the black box is ongoing, being conducted at the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries. According to information, the wreckage will be studied at the aircraft maintenance plant in Kayseri.
