The agreement signed by representatives of both countries allows citizens holding the appropriate passports to enter, exit, and transit through the territory of the other country without a visa for up to 30 days. This agreement will remain in effect indefinitely unless one of the parties notifies the other of its termination 90 days in advance.
Both countries expressed hope for strengthening economic and diplomatic relations. Mongolia also noted its interest in expanding the visa-free regime to a broader range of citizens in the future.
This agreement is part of a broader strategy by Bangladesh aimed at expanding its visa-free entry system, which already includes 34 similar agreements.
