According to this agreement, documents confirming the completion of higher education institutions (diplomas) issued by accredited educational institutions of the participating countries will be recognized.
It is important to note that refusal to recognize a diploma is possible only in cases where there is evidence of significant differences in the requirements of the higher education system.
Kazakhstan will accept diplomas issued by universities that are in the top 1000 of global rankings, such as Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS), Times Higher Education (THE), and Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). This will allow their holders to engage in professional activities, undergo internships, and continue their studies in accordance with the fields of study specified in the diplomas.
Refusal to recognize diplomas may occur in the following situations:
- if the documents are not presented in the proper form or if certified copies are missing;
- if there are no attachments to the diplomas;
- if there are discrepancies or contradictions in the documents regarding the program, duration, or results of education;
- if the authenticity of the diploma cannot be confirmed by the educational institution that issued the document.
