The key fact is that China stopped using leaded gasoline in 2000 and is now introducing a standard that complies with Euro-5.

Shen Minjue, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Mongolia, is actively working to strengthen and increase fuel imports from China.

As previously reported, in December, Mongolia is receiving 418 tankers of AI-92 gasoline from China by railway.

Yesterday, December 21, 53 tankers of AI-95 gasoline were delivered through the Zamyn-Uud—Ereen-khoto border checkpoint.

The delivery of 53 tankers of AI-95 gasoline represents a significant volume of fuel, which can be estimated considering the capacity of the tankers (usually from 60 to 125 tons) and the density of this fuel (approximately 0.75 g/cm³ or 750 kg/m³), which is equivalent to about 4,500 – 8,000 tons.

AI-95 gasoline produced in China is a high-octane fuel with an octane rating of 95, used both in China and neighboring countries. It is intended for high-powered vehicles and for imported models, often produced with consideration of Chinese technologies (for example, with the involvement of CNPC in Central Asia). Major oil companies in China, such as Sinopec and PetroChina, are responsible for its supply, and recent observations show that they pay special attention to quality and modernization to meet modern standards.

AI-95 gasoline in China is a high-quality fuel that meets strict national emission standards (China VI) and provides excellent performance for most modern vehicles. However, the specific quality may vary depending on the plant (for example, Sinopec or PetroChina) and the composition of the blend (for example, ethanol content). Major gasoline brands often use high-quality additives to enhance efficiency and clean the engine, making this fuel a reliable choice for foreign cars.
