The most critical situation is observed in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, where local authorities have declared a state of emergency. City services are struggling to eliminate the consequences of the heavy snowfall, which is considered the most significant in the last 30 years.

According to the latest reports, two people have died as a result of snow falling from roofs. The body of a 60-year-old man was found near a two-story building, while a 62-year-old man died next to a private house in the Seroglazki area.

Some residents of apartment buildings have found themselves blocked in their entrances. Some were able to dig out exits on their own, while others managed to get outside through the windows of the first floors.
