A powerful storm has struck the entire territory of Turkey.

According to local news sources, numerous incidents have been reported, including damage to infrastructure and transportation. Hurricane-force winds tore roofs off houses, toppled trees, and swept away boats. As a result of the bad weather, many airplanes were unable to land, and trucks were overturned. Debris from roofs blocked major roads, and power outages were also reported.

In the city of Bursa, a 22-year-old man died when a wall collapsed. In Kocaeli, classes at educational institutions have been suspended, and in Istanbul, Balıkesir, and Manisa, beaches and historical monuments, including minarets, have been damaged.

On the coast of Kireçburnu in Sarıyer, a 10-meter lighthouse was overturned by strong winds and fell into the sea.

Additionally, ferry and maritime services have been canceled.

The Turkish Meteorological Service has issued a "yellow" level warning for many provinces, including Istanbul and Ankara, and a sharp drop in temperature is expected in the coming days.
