During the ceremony, models dressed in costumes in shades of green, white, and red formed a living flag of Italy, and Laura Pausini performed the anthem "Fratelli d'Italia". The theme of the festive event was "Armonia". Giovanni Malago, president of the "Milan-Cortina 2026" foundation, noted that the decision to commemorate Armani had long been overdue for both the city and the entire country.
