The French chain Carrefour has triumphed over the Buryat 'Absolute' in Ulaanbaatar
The supermarket 'Absolute', representing Buryat business, has closed in Ulaanbaatar, leaving Mongolian customers without its services. This store was located in Hunnu Mall, which is in the Yaarmag district.
In place of the closed 'Absolute', a new branch of the Carrefour chain is now operating.
The owner of the 'Absolute' chain is Indira Shagdarova, an entrepreneur from Buryatia.

When the first Carrefour store opened in Ulaanbaatar, some Russian media, especially in Buryatia, predicted its failure, citing the lack of funds among the local population. However, the Carrefour chain continues to actively develop, opening new locations, and now has more than 20 branches in the capital of Mongolia.
