
At a press conference, the ambassador noted: “I express my deep gratitude to our friends from Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz government actively supports China on the issue of Xinjiang. This is mutual support in key aspects that concern both countries, which is the essence of our strategic partnership.”
Liu Jiangping also commented on the question of whether the information campaign against Xinjiang has subsided, stating that “fake news continues to emerge.”
She emphasized that some Western countries use this topic for their own purposes. “Their main goal is to contain China. However, more and more people are beginning to realize the true picture. I have been in Kyrgyzstan for a year and three months, and many of my local acquaintances who have visited Xinjiang have been able to see its reality,” the ambassador added.
According to her, the accusations regarding human rights violations and forced labor are fabricated.
“Human rights pretexts and accusations of forced labor are nothing but manipulations. Western countries deliberately create such myths and obstacles. Their intentions are obvious,” noted Liu Jiangping.
She also emphasized the importance of the connection between the Xinjiang region and Kyrgyzstan. “Xinjiang is close to our country. I am convinced that if everything is well in Xinjiang, it will positively reflect on Kyrgyzstan. These processes are interconnected,” she concluded.
