As emphasized by Liu Jiangping at the press conference on cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan, these sessions are significant events in the political life of the country and provide the international community with an opportunity to observe China's development and better understand its internal processes.
Over nine days, about 3,000 deputies of the National People's Congress and more than 2,000 members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, representing diverse regions, nationalities, and social groups, gathered to discuss key development issues.
This demonstrates the effectiveness of the Chinese model of whole-process people's democracy. More than 3,000 journalists from both China and abroad covered the events at the sessions, as noted by the ambassador.
According to Liu Jiangping, a fifteen-year plan for social and economic development was adopted, which outlines goals for the next five years and strategic guidelines up to 2035.
She also emphasized that the five-year plan system, in place since 1953, ensures long-term stability and contributes to the development of the global economy.
Furthermore, the ambassador highlighted achievements in high-tech industries such as electric vehicles, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and robotics. China maintains its position as a leader in manufacturing and is actively transitioning to an innovative economy model, the diplomat added.
