On April 6, the Chairman of the Great State Khural, Byambatsogt Sandag, held a meeting with Naranjagt Sanjaa, the head of the Bank of Mongolia. The main topics of discussion were issues related to the external economic and domestic political situation, as well as inflation, rising prices, foreign currency reserves, and other important aspects.
At the beginning of the meeting, Naranjagt shared information about the negative consequences of the conflict in the Middle East and the current economic situation. He noted that the Bank of Mongolia is taking timely measures in accordance with current legislation and ensuring transparency of information to protect national currency reserves and currency stability.
Speaker Byambatsogt emphasized that global economic and political challenges have begun to affect our country, both society and the economy. As a result, a decision was made to regularly provide the Bank of Mongolia with updated information and recommendations on political measures that will be implemented in the future.
