From March 22 to 24, 2026, the chairman of the Mongolian People's Party (MNP) and speaker of the Great State Hural (GSH) Uchral Nyam-Osor made an official visit to the People's Republic of China. This visit was organized at the invitation of the Communist Party of China, during which he met with Liu Haixin, the head of the International Relations Department of the CPC Central Committee.
In his speech, Uchral Nyam-Osor expressed gratitude for the opportunity to make his first visit as chairman of the MNP to the neighboring country — China.
He noted that this event is of great significance for strengthening the traditional friendly ties between the two parties, which have historically cooperated for over 105 years, as well as for expanding and deepening their interaction.

Uchral Nyam-Osor also emphasized the importance of developing new areas of cooperation, such as renewable energy, infrastructure projects, environmental protection, carbon markets, and the digital economy, in the context of the successful implementation of China's 15th five-year socio-economic development plan.
Liu Haixin, for his part, expressed satisfaction that Uchral Nyam-Osor chose China for his first foreign visit as chairman of the MNP. He noted the importance of relations between Mongolia and China and emphasized that both countries should continue to develop these ties.
Liu Haixin also mentioned that he aims to bring new content to the traditional friendly relations between the CPC and the MNP, as well as to expand cooperation among youth, women's, and labor unions within the framework of the cooperation memorandum.

He also emphasized the need for active support from both sides in implementing the agreed plans of the governments of the two countries and realizing projects beneficial to the peoples, noting that China's 15th five-year socio-economic development plan opens new horizons for cooperation.
The parties also discussed the prospects for joint work of political parties on the international stage.
