
According to MiddleAsianNews, the plenary session of the Great State Khural of Mongolia, which took place on April 3, 2026, lasted from 19:40 to 2:25 on April 4. The agenda of the meeting included the appointment of new government members, led by Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor.
The discussion, which lasted almost seven hours, concluded with the oath of the new ministers.

The new government, formed in accordance with the laws of the country, was presented to the parliament by Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor and discussed at the plenary session of the Great State Khural.

Prime Minister Uchral emphasizes that deputy ministers will not be appointed from other ministries for the functional four ministries. According to the Government Law, such functional ministries include:
- Ministry of Economy and Development;
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Ministry of Finance;
- Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs.
It has been decided that deputy ministers from other ministries will be removed within three months.
