In Kyrgyzstan, the Audit Chamber conducted an audit in two institutions operating in the alcohol sector. This was reported by representatives of the agency's press service.

The audits covered the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, and were conducted at the State Agency for the Control of the Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol and Alcoholic Products, as well as at the state distillery "Kara-Balta."

According to the auditors' report, deficiencies were found in the organization of work and accounting at the agency. In particular, the accounting of seized illegal alcoholic products, their residues, and materials transferred to law enforcement agencies was conducted improperly.

Delays in transferring materials about fines to the Bailiff Service were also recorded, complicating the collection process. Additionally, the state procurement plan for 2023 was not approved, and documents confirming travel expenses were not submitted in full.

Violations were also found in the state enterprise. The audit revealed improper execution of employment contracts, a lack of a unified approach to salary calculations, and unclear distribution of responsibilities among employees.

Additional payments for harmful working conditions were made without prior certification of workplaces. In the procurement sector, non-compliance with established requirements, lack of timely approval of plans, and conducting market analysis were identified. Some primary accounting documents, including defect and installation acts for auto parts, were not properly executed.

The Audit Chamber sent recommendations to the specified institutions and demanded that the identified violations be rectified.
