The General Director of LLC "Kemin Resource Group", a citizen of the People's Republic of China, T.D., has been detained as part of an investigation conducted by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR). During a check conducted with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Forest Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, serious violations concerning the ecology at the gold mining site "Dolpran," located in the Kemin district of the Chuy region, were identified.
According to the press service of the State Committee, the commission was able to establish that during geological exploration, 14,398.6 square meters of land were destroyed, which constitutes a violation of the licensing agreement and technical project. Incorrect data was also submitted to the reserves commission, which contradicts the requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding subsoil and industrial safety.
Expert assessments confirmed that the environmental damage from the activities of the "Dolpran" site is significant. On November 20, 2025, T.D. was placed in a pre-trial detention center by the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court in Bishkek.
Thus, investigative actions are ongoing, and the situation regarding the ecology of the Kyrgyz Republic remains under the control of state authorities.
