According to the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), T.D., the general director of LLC "Kemin Resource Group," has been detained.
The agency reports numerous violations that occurred during geological exploration at the gold deposit "Dolpran," located in the Kemin district of the Chuy region. These violations resulted in significant environmental damage.
During a commission check conducted by employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Forest Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it was established that the soil cover over an area of 14,398.6 square meters was destroyed, the work did not comply with the technical project, the land was damaged, and the conditions of the licensing agreement were violated. Additionally, false data was submitted to the commission on reserves. As a result of the court proceedings, the detainee has been placed in the GKNB detention center.
Investigative authorities emphasize that the company's actions violated the requirements of the Law "On Subsoil," the Law "On Industrial Safety of Hazardous Production Facilities," and the Safety Rules for Open-Pit Mining of Mineral Resources.
The investigation is ongoing.
