According to reports, on December 1, the court decided to restrict Bazhkenova's freedom for a period of two months.

It is worth reminding that the day before, searches were conducted in the offices of "Orda" in Almaty and Astana, as well as in Gulnar Bazhkenova's home. Law enforcement agencies did not allow the publication's lawyers to be present during these procedures.

During the investigative actions, the chief editor of "Orda," the editor-in-chief of the Almaty branch, as well as the news editor and accountant were taken for questioning. Mobile phones were confiscated from the employees.
