The organizers exploited the difficult living conditions of young women, convincing them to transfer their children to third parties for monetary compensation. All participants in the scheme have been detained, and more than 20 criminal cases are currently under investigation. The suspects could face up to 18 years of imprisonment with asset confiscation," the press release states.
