Evans Eshun, better known as Ebo Noy, has come under the scrutiny of law enforcement after he announced a postponement of his predicted flood. The arrest occurred just days before the scheduled date when he was suspected of fraud.

According to Ebo Noy, he received a new revelation stating that the ten arks he built would not have enough space for everyone who wanted to board. In this regard, he declared that the Almighty had given humanity additional time to construct new vessels. After the predicted flood did not occur, the prophet explained it by saying that he managed to "convince God not to destroy our world" through prayers.

Ebo Noy actively urged his followers to donate money for the construction of the arks, claiming that the end of the world was near. However, instead of taking life-saving measures, he used the collected funds to purchase a Mercedes-Benz, which raised suspicions among the police.

The arrest took place on the eve of the New Year and was the result of an investigation into his activities aimed at deceiving followers for financial gain. Despite his claims of living a modest life, videos surfaced online showing him flaunting his new luxury car. The authorities of Ghana are urging residents to be cautious and not fall for the tricks of such fraudsters.

It is important to note that his predictions about the flood, allegedly communicated to him from above, led to serious consequences for many people who believed in their truthfulness.

Mass panic forced people to leave their homes, studies, and jobs, spending money on trips to the construction sites of the "arks," which created significant social tension.

The situation could have been less alarming if Ebo Noy had acknowledged his mistake and publicly apologized to his followers.

Moreover, he violated the laws of Ghana, where the dissemination of false prophecies causing fear and panic is prohibited. He will now have to face the consequences of his actions.

As of now, it is known that Evans Eshun (the prophet's real name) has pleaded guilty and expressed remorse, explaining his actions as a desire for attention and popularity.

We continue to monitor the developments and await the results of the psychiatric examination.
