“Predicted” the apocalypse on December 25 and built wooden arks. A false prophet was arrested in Ghana

Ebo Noah, who quickly gained public attention with his strange predictions, claimed that a worldwide flood would occur on Christmas. To prepare for this, he began constructing wooden arks, promising that those who joined him would be saved.

When the promised flood did not occur on December 25, Noah stated that his prayers and three-week fast had "postponed" the end of the world. This caused even more confusion among the locals and those who had come from other countries to experience the catastrophe.

After the flood did not happen, he explained that God had postponed the deluge and even appeared at a rapper's concert to reassure his followers.

On December 31, Ebo Noah was arrested for spreading false information and inciting panic among the people.

Noah's initial popularity arose after his claim of divine instruction to build 10 arks to save humanity from an anticipated three-year flood, which he predicted for December 25, 2025, referencing biblical events.

For several months, videos featuring him flooded social media, including TikTok and YouTube, where the 30-year-old man in tattered clothing showcased the construction of the arks, claiming to have gathered over 250,000 pieces of wood for the project and that his arks were the only salvation for believers.

However, after Christmas, when the sky remained clear, Noah quickly changed his approach, stating that his intercession had altered God's will, and released a viral video explaining the "postponement" of the destruction.
