The situation that led to this decision was recorded on video, which went viral on Kyrgyz social media. The footage shows two police officers in civilian clothes arguing with employees of the Bishkek City Police Department. It is believed that they were trying to enter a Jay Sean concert without tickets. During the conflict, one of them makes a phone call, claiming they have invitations, but the sergeants refuse to let them in.
The concert by the English performer took place at the "Zhashtyk" small arena on the evening of December 20.
As a result of an internal investigation conducted by the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Senior Lieutenant M.B. and Captain M.K. were removed from their positions.
