According to the department's data, an internal investigation confirmed that two law enforcement officers exhibited unacceptable behavior: they used inappropriate language and attempted to enter a concert without the necessary permission. As a result, senior lieutenant M.B. and captain M.K. were dismissed from their positions.
Additionally, this month, during a patrol, the inspectors of the UPMS stopped a Toyota vehicle. The driver exhibited suspicious behavior and showed signs of alcohol intoxication. Initially, he admitted to driving under the influence, but later retracted his statement and attempted to avoid undergoing a sobriety test. An examination confirmed the presence of alcohol in his blood. A report was filed against this driver, who turned out to be a police officer, and his vehicle was sent to the impound lot. As a result of the investigation, police sergeant M.U.K. was dismissed from the internal affairs bodies.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that strict measures will be applied to violators of discipline and law, regardless of their rank and position.
