The incident became known thanks to a video published on December 24, 2025, on Instagram, which captured the attempt to forcefully place a foreigner into a car. This information was recorded in the logbook of the Issyk-Kul police department, which initiated an investigation and operational activities.
As a result of investigative actions, the suspect captured in the video was identified and detained. He turned out to be a 32-year-old resident of Cholpon-Ata, S.N.
According to his testimony, a Bangladeshi citizen, S.A., had been working at a café owned by the detainee since December 14, 2025, and was living in his employer's house. On December 23, he received a salary of 12,800 soms. The next day, the detainee claims, the worker left the apartment without notice, taking with him about 8 kilograms of beef.
After that, S.N. began searching for the foreigner, found him in the village of Chyrpykty, and attempted to force him into his car, demanding that he complete the agreed work term. However, his attempt was unsuccessful. According to the detainee, he took his meat back and left the Bangladeshi citizen at the scene, after which he hitchhiked towards Bishkek.
Currently, law enforcement agencies continue to search for the foreign citizen and are conducting further investigations into this case. Additional information will be provided later.
