Saipidinov's arrest has been extended until March 14, 2026, according to a ruling issued on January 13, 2026.

According to the court, Saipidinov's case is actively being considered in the Kara-Suu District Court of the Osh region.
He is accused of creating or participating in an organized group, which carries a penalty of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years with possible confiscation of property, as well as in corrupt actions committed in the interests of a criminal community, which may lead to imprisonment for a term of 12 to 15 years with confiscation of property and a ban on holding certain positions.
The investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs established that since 2014, Saipidinov, along with other officials and private individuals, illegally transferred socially significant land plots into private hands, causing serious harm to the state.
It should be noted that on August 7, 2025, Saipidinov was brought to Bishkek from Russia, where he was detained in Novosibirsk. He stated that his arrest is connected to the actions of Raimbek Matraimov, the former deputy head of the customs service, who was convicted of corruption. Saipidinov claims to possess information related to the cases of Aiyrken Saymaiti and journalist Ulan Egizbaev, and that Matraimov is trying to prevent their disclosure.
Additionally, Saipidinov has stated that he was threatened and attempted to be attacked with a knife in Dubai. He appealed to the head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, asking to take his case under personal control and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the investigation.
