An avalanche has occurred on the alternative North-South road

On the 198th kilometer of the alternative North-South road, an avalanche occurred, with a volume of approximately 250-300 cubic meters.

The press service of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol" reported that the 24th road maintenance enterprise quickly responded to the situation and cleared the road using special equipment. The roadway was completely cleared of snow.

Currently, traffic on the highway is proceeding as usual, and there are no restrictions on passage.

Additionally, the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol" added that safety measures for road traffic are continuously conducted on all vehicle routes and mountain passes across the country. The situation on the roads is under constant monitoring.
