A production base that was previously illegally privatized has been returned to state ownership in Bishkek. This was reported by the press center of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
According to the agency, during the investigation, corrupt schemes related to the alienation of property located at: 1a Timur Frunze Street were uncovered. This case involves workshops, warehouses, and a land plot of 0.64 hectares.
The investigation established that in 1988, a limited liability company "Aibol" was founded on the basis of the Housing and Utilities Enterprise "Kyrgyzkurulush." At that time, the state transferred the production base with the condition that it would be used for servicing residential buildings. The founders were not allowed to change the profile of activities without the consent of all parties.
However, since 2010, utility services ceased, and the property began to be used for commercial purposes. Control over the object was transferred to a citizen D.B., who at that time held the position of Deputy Head of the Government Office, through his mother, who was appointed as the director of the company.
During the inspection, D.B. acknowledged the fact of illegal privatization. To compensate for the damage, he voluntarily transferred the production base and the land plot to the balance of the State Agency for Management of State Property (GAUGI).
In the near future, experts will conduct an assessment of the land, after which the object will be transferred to the balance of the Bishkek City Hall.
