According to him, on January 22, 2024, two individuals unknown to him, introducing themselves as M. and A., gained his trust and sold two plots of land with a total area of 16 acres in the village of Selektsiya, receiving $200 thousand in cash for it.

The investigation established that the suspects were not the owners of the mentioned plots and fraudulently caused significant damage to the victim. Out of the $200 thousand, he was returned only $57 thousand 500, after which the fraudsters disappeared.
The total amount of material damage, according to the investigation, amounted to 12 million 281 thousand 156 soms.
In connection with these events, the Investigative Service of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department initiated a criminal case under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational measures, the suspect U.M., born in 1985, was detained. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The identity of the second suspect has been established, and actions are currently being taken to detain him. The investigation is ongoing.
