According to the victim, in 2024, the mentioned citizen gained his trust and deceitfully stole 1.5 million soms and a minivan worth $20,000, promising to provide bricks in return. After that, he stopped communicating.
As a result, this fraud caused damage amounting to 2 million 388 thousand 148 soms.
Based on the above, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational investigative activities, police officers were able to identify the suspects – J.E., born in 1993, and A.K., born in 1992. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
It was also revealed during the investigation that citizen A.K. may be involved in five other similar cases of fraud committed in this area. Additionally, an examination is being conducted regarding his possible connection to similar crimes in other districts of the Chui region.
